Description
A Four-Week Executive Intensive — based on the book Schemas in Leadership by Daniela Aneva, MCC
Format: 4 modules (full days) Duration: 4 weeks Rhythm: 1 day per week
The Premise
Leadership isn’t what you do. It’s what you repeat.
Every leader operates from a set of invisible templates — schemas formed long before they ever led a team. These schemas shape which voices they trust, which conflicts they avoid, which successes they unconsciously sabotage, and which patterns they replay decade after decade in new organizations.
This program takes the framework from the book and converts it into applied practice. Over four full days spaced a week apart, participants map their own leadership schemas, diagnose the ones quietly costing them, and rehearse new patterns with a group of peers working at a comparable level of scale and consequence.
The leader you became under pressure early in life is not necessarily the leader your organization needs now.
The work is rigorous, relational, and discreet. It is designed for executives who are ready to stop managing the symptoms of their patterns and start revising the source code.
The Curriculum
Four full days. Four revisions of the self.
Module 1 — Mapping the Inner Architecture
Week One · Foundations
Surface the schemas that govern your leadership — how they formed, what they protect, and the price they quietly extract.
- The five core schema domains at executive level
- Personal schema inventory and diagnostic
- Origin mapping: where the pattern was forged
- The cost-of-repetition audit
Module 2 — Schemas in Decision & Power
Week Two · Strategy
How schemas distort the hardest calls a leader makes — hiring, conflict, capital allocation, succession, and the exercise of authority itself.
- Decision patterns under uncertainty and fatigue
- The four executive avoidance archetypes
- Power, approval, and the schema of being liked
- Live case diagnostics from participant practice
Module 3 — Schemas in Relationship & Team
Week Three · Systems
How individual schemas collide, entangle, and become culture — and how a leader’s inner patterns become the team’s operating norms.
- Relational schemas between leader and direct reports
- Team contagion: how patterns spread through a system
- Feedback, rupture, and repair at executive altitude
- Reading the schemas of the room in real time
Module 4 — Rewriting the Pattern
Week Four · Integration
Move from insight to revision. Build a personal schema re-authoring plan, stress-tested against the leadership challenges you return to on Monday morning.
- The schema revision framework — from diagnosis to design
- Rehearsal under simulated pressure conditions
- Personal leadership charter and accountability pact
- Closing integration circle and post-program protocol
