Some cases keep coming back in a new disguise. The coach who cannot stop fixing. The supervisee who over-prepares for every session. The moment you suddenly feel deskilled with a coach you usually enjoy working with. These moments are rarely random. They are schemas, patterns formed long ago, moving between the client, the coach and you.

This advanced programme is for supervisors who already have a foundation in coaching supervision and want a precise, shared language for those patterns, plus bounded, ethical methods to work with them. It builds on Daniela’s new book Schemas in Coaching Supervision (2026), which is the course text.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO

• Spot the schemas and modes beneath a supervisee’s stuckness, rescuing, over-preparation or silence.
• Map a case across four layers (client, coach, supervisor and organisation) and read Mirror, Lock and Clash chemistry between coach and client.
• Treat parallel process as information rather than disturbance, and name it with care.
• Work with your own schemas as a supervisor and strengthen your Healthy Adult presence, holding warmth and limits together.
• Use schema case formulation, present-focused imagery, chair work and between-session experiments within the supervision contract.
• Hold a clear line between coaching, supervision and therapy, and refer well when a pattern calls for it.

 

THE FIVE LIVE SESSIONS

• 3 February 2027: Schema Foundations for the Supervisory Space
• 17 February 2027: Three Layers in the Room: Schema Chemistry and Parallel Process
• 3 March 2027: The Supervisor’s Own Schemas and the Healthy Adult Supervisor
• 24 March 2027: Methods Within Scope: Formulation, Imagery, Chair Work and Experiments
• 7 April 2027: Schemas Across Contexts and Integration

All sessions run on Wednesdays, 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM ET, live on Zoom. Between sessions, four guided-study units built on the book are completed through short written reflections and a final integration paper.

 

IS THIS PROGRAMME FOR YOU?

It is the right fit if you are a coaching supervisor or supervisor in training who has completed coaching supervision training or has at least a year of active supervision practice. It suits holders of the ICF Coaching Supervision Specialization or EMCC ESIA, PCC and MCC coaches who supervise other coaches, mentor coaches, and leaders of internal coaching functions.

This is not an introduction to supervision, and it is not schema therapy training. It is a coaching supervision programme with clear boundaries.
