Description
ICF COACHING SUPERVISOR SPECIALIZATION (CSS) PATHWAY
The Mastery of Coaching Supervision
A 41-hour coaching supervision training aligned with the ICF Coaching Supervision Competencies
Developed and taught by Daniela Aneva, MCC, ACTC, CSS, EMCC ESIA, Chartered MCIPD · Delivered in partnership with BCC (Becoming a Credentialed Coach) and Judit Ábri von Bartheld, MA, MCC, ACTC
Supervision is becoming the standard of the profession. From 1 January 2027, ICF supervision hours, both for ACTC applicants and for credential holders who count supervision toward renewal, must be completed with a CSS holder or a supervisor accredited by another recognised professional body. This programme gives you the education the CSS asks for, and the confidence to hold a supervision space that is ethical, reflective and genuinely useful to the coaches who bring their work to you.
WHAT THE PROGRAMME GIVES YOU
- 41 CSS-eligible hours: 26 live hours on Zoom and 15 hours of guided study, 63% synchronous, above the ICF 50% minimum.
- All eight ICF Coaching Supervision Competencies (CS-1 to CS-8) and all five CSS training areas: ethical guidance, supportive environments, reflective practice, client and practitioner development, and group supervision dynamics.
- A certificate of completion ready to attach to your CSS application.
THE NINE LIVE SESSIONS
- Foundations: identity, philosophy and the supervisor within
- Ethical guidance: standards, dilemmas and accountability
- Reflective practice and self-care: the sustainable supervisor
- Process: contracting, managing the work and the supervisory alliance
- Facilitating reflection: the heart of supervisory practice
- Guiding development across career stages
- Group supervision: facilitation, dynamics and design
- Systemic dimensions, cultural humility and advanced practice
- CSS preparation, live practice and closing
BETWEEN SESSIONS
- Reading from the core text, Becoming a Coaching Supervisor and Coach Mentor, co-authored by Daniela Aneva
- Eight reflective essays, each built around specific competency indicators
- A reflective practice journal you keep throughout the programme
